Hi guys,

I am searching for some very specific Castrol oil. Can anyone point me to where I may have luck finding it?

Maybe someone has ordered oil through Aramax; if so let me know that too since I have found this oil in the US and could have it sent here.

Castrol Power RS TTS 2T (2 -stroke)

Thanks

Pleasure meeting you at the field today Rich Smiley  I have a contact at Woqod (yep, the same folks who runs all the new gas stations), and they are the dealers for Castrol here.

Let me check with him.

Rich - My friends immediate suggestion was to check at Woqod petrol stations.

He will also update me after checking with the lube section of Woqod tomorrow.

Hi Anwar, I received an email last night from the US distributor regarding the Castrol oil. Apparently the specific oil I was looking for is being discontinued! I might get lucky and find some at Woqod like you said, but I am waiting to hear back from the radial engine manufacturer about a replacement/substitute recommended oil.
Looks like it's going to be windy week, so being without oil and grounded at the moment isn't too bad.  Undecided

My friend just got back to me, and the news is not very promising either Sad  This is a non-moving item in Qatar, and it was never imported recently (read that as many years). So the chances of finding it locally are close to non-existant.

He said it is common in India, so that may be an option... I will check on that too.

Thanks Anwar.
I am waiting to hear from the engine manufacturer about the recommended replacement oil. Hoping it is something available locally.
