Any restriction for us to own Quadcopter here in Qatar. Bcoz last Wednesday I just arrived from Malaysia and my Dji Phantom has been detained by Hamad Airport Customs. They said I've to go to MOI or Police to get the letter that I can own it & bring it to Qatar. This is really bad man. Angry Angry Angry Angry
I only can get it back only after I get the letter.

1 Does it have a camera on it?
2 Do you have Qatar Scientific Club membership?

If you are a member of the Qatar Scientific club, get them to issue a letter for importing the Phantom.

If you had a camera on the DJI and they saw it, then good luck to you. If believe that Drones with cameras are forbidden in Qatar.

Good luck and let us know how it ends.

You had a camera on it?

A friend told me once that someone was flying a drone in a residential area with a camera on it. Police came and took it off him.

Someone complained and that was it.
