Hi Anwar.

Nice!

Just last night I ordered this Juka, but I just saw this post this morning, (even though I now see it was posted right before my Beast post) !!! bit of a coincidence!

I ordered an Outrunner 1100Kv and 2100mah for it. What motor are you running?

I got the Scorpion motor recommended in the DWFoamies site : Scorpion 3014-1040KV motor.

I also got the recommended 36A Castle Thunderbird  ESC, but I used a Scorpion 60A one which I had with me from earlier. The batteries are Turnigy NanoTech 3s 2200mAH 45C ones from HobbyKing.

My brother flew this yesterday, and his reaction was literally "this is something!".

Yeah I saw the Scorpion and Dynamo power packages on the DW site, but went for the Outrunner instead....I like E-flight stuff.

And the Thunder Power 3S battery I got is quite small and only 142 grams, which is nice and light.

Did it go together without any issues?

Pretty much.  The build was not super clean because I used 5 min epoxy everywhere, as I did not have either PVA or Foam safe CA handy.  Also, I used some existing good quality linkage rods instead of doing Z bends and using the supplied ones. So the servo positions had to be moved, which was no big deal.

I had it in the car when we met yesterday !

I just need to put in some sim time before I can get the best out of it Wink
