Hello one and all,

Are there any experts in hand launching pusher planes?  I'm bringing one with me to Doha and it would be good to know if anyone is confident in launching them..........it;s an UltraFly F16 with brushless setup.

Does anyone in Doha fly electric EDF planes? or anyone interested in starting?

i've flown a few pushers in the uk and never seemed to have a problem launching..You'll probably find your model has a hand (finger and thumb) grip somewhere underneath around the centre of gravity..If not then a good idea to make one out of a piece of balsa or something. Make sure you give it a bit of a run up (easier if someone else launches for you)..and away it should go.. The only other method i have seen is to use a small wooden ramp and some bungee cable.. Not started flying in Doha yet but keen to get started and am hopefully returning with a couple of brushless electric set ups after my summer hols..

Thanks for that.  I think the problem i've always had is torque roll.  I'm still waiting for my shipment to arrive in Doha then i'll be down that airfield giving it a go.  What brushless setups have you brought back from your hols? do you live in al kore?
