Hi guys

Many of your already know that i had a little accident at the flying field yesterday when i accidentaly bumped the throttle stick on the TX at the same time as reacing for my Plane to disconnect the battery.

This resulted in a couple of nasty cuts in teh back of my left hand and the front of my plane being torn off!!!
See pictures below.

The swelling and bruising on my hand have now got allot worse and today my hand is extremely stiff and uncomfortable.

Many thanks go to Aditya for haveing a first aid kit with him and patching me up!

I am not sure why but when your TX is in Plane mode there is no simple way to activate a throttle hold like there is in Heli mode.
I have done some research and i have found a way that you can program a switch on a Spektrum DX7 transmitter so it will cut the throttle no matter where the throttle stick is. Exactly like TH when you fly Helis
Just like in Heli mode when you flip the throttle hold switch

I am not sure if the programming must be similar for a DX8 that many of you use.

Here is a mix you can use for a DX7

Program Mix1

Thro --->Thro Off
Rate: -100%
Rate: -100%

SW: Mix
Offset: -100

I will be programming this into ALL of my planes from now on to aviod the same thing happening again.

Just be careful people the props we use are very sharp at 10,000RPM!!

Ben,

On DX8 there is a throttle cut switch. I have assigned the gear switch as the throttle cut.
