Thank you Talon 90 for making the maiden voyage of my brand new Goblin 500 an unforgettable & smoking experience... no comments enjoy the pictures...

Facts:

Goblin 500.
19 Pinion, 4120 motor, 6080G Spektrum Tail servo, DS515M Cyclic, Scorpion Backup Guard installed and Spektrum 7200BX with Satelite & telemetry on RPM & Voltage

Setup of CC: Governor RPM with 30%,70%,100% on 2200,2400,2600 rpm respectively 1200KV, 8pole & reduction ration 1:8.7 on the 18 pinion

Two minutes into the flight simply hovering testing the Beastx setup and the Governor RPM in the telemetry while Governor mode was at 2400 rpm, cyclic had a "glitchy" feeling with difficulty raising RPM.  Landed and while light on skids helicopter stopped responding and tilted right motor stopped almost immediately and while smoke came out of the canopy.

So far, Blades, Tail Brades, skids, Talon, Backup Guard (and I hope not the rest of electronics) needs replacing....

MFA Sport 500... fixed pitch, no gyro, no simulators, no internet.  Just nitro, wooden blades and two screwdrivers to bend the bladeholders to adjust the pitch.... more adrenaline than flying a real helicopter...

Wow... and Castle is supposed to be good !

Wonder if you should have tried non-governor mode for a little bit at first.

Probably you are right.

Talon is truly good, cheap with excellent software.

However it blew 100 seconds into the flight without major load.

The same post has generated quite some response in helifreak

More than 100 responses and 4000 views!

It also burnt my scorpion backup guard and 7200BX spectrum receiver...

In the UK we know that particular company as 'Castle Cremations'.... They are renowned for going up in flames....
