It is best that you visit one of the local RC shops, that have a strong list of heli flyers who frequent them.  Currently, Pro Hobbies seems to be the one with a lot of heli people.  If you can get in touch with Joe at Pro Hobbies, that would be a good start.

I know of people flying helis in the official Al-Khor RC field on Friday mornings, and sometimes on Saturday mornings also.  Some people are flying Friday mornings at another location between Wakrah and Mesaieed.
