I have imported Radio Control Helicopter and the item is being held by customs.

Does anybody know the Secretary of Qatar Scientific Club or anybody where he can expedite the letter for airport customs clearance?
 Huh?

Hmmm... strange.  I have done this many times before, and it has never taken more than one business day.  I go in one evening, and they give it to me that evening itself, or the next business day (evening) for sure.

How much delay are you faced with ?

The procedure is already here... basically join the scientific club, get the notice from customs, take that notice to the club, get a letter from them, and take that letter to customs.   Sometimes, customs will also ask you to get a letter from ICT too.

Hey Anwar,
I have yet to make it over to Qatar Scientific Club. What is ICT? By the way, how has your trip been so far?

ICT is the telecom regulatory authority, they are the ones who certify electronic items for import.
