Hello all, I am new here, just registered...

I went to them last week and had my radio controlled car checked out. Without asking me, they tuned and changed the spark plug and charged me 50 riyals... I said ok and paid with a happy face.

Went home, put it aside and thinking about the weekend to try it out myself. Weekend came, took it out to a large private yard, there was no pulse. Tried to turn it again and again... nothing.

Went today again to the shop to have them looked again at it, it turned out the spark plug was dead. WTF?

It was a brand new one, I never used the car (well couldn't actually), they changed it and asked me for another 30 riyal as price of the plug. Didn't pay, so they removed it and I went home again with a dead car.

SO FOR ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WHO KNOW THIS STUPID SHOP, JUST BEWARE... THOSE PEOPLE CANNOT GUARANTEE THEIR PRODUCTS SINCE THEY ARE THE WORST QUALITY AVAILABLE...

I am dealing with Speed Marine from now on...

Customer service is sort of hit and miss across Doha Sad

Wish you had seen it starting up and running couple of times before you left the shop the first time itself !  HobbyLand service has been pretty good so far  for myself and other close friends who are into RC.

I have seen it starting up and running next to their shop, they tried it in front of me. But after I took it home, there was the problem.

Anyways just letting everyone know here about this stupid shop and their useless service...

Went yesterday night to Speed Marine, the guys there were great!
I changed the spark plug for 25 riyals and they re-tuned it for free!
