Hi all,

I plan on coming to Qatar pretty soon.  Just thought I'd check in.  I dunno if I'll be able to get out to the field, but I'll try.


I'm mostly into helis and discus-launch gliders.  I hope to be able to build a smaller DLG while in Qatar and get at least some time to fly it.  What are the winter thermals like?  Any other glider drivers there?


Anyway, looking forward to my vacation there.  I hope I can find time to come out and see you guys.
