Hi guys I'm new to Qatar. Staying at all khor.
I am a rc enthusiast. But have no means to travel from my home to the field. If any one is travelling to the rc air field and are willing to take me along with them kindly inform me. I shall make my self free on Friday mornings..
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rodrigo,

Which field did you go to? The old field at exit 44 is closed and the new field is at exit 54. It is a bit difficult to get to if you don't know the way. We usually fly on Friday mornings leaving Doha at 6am and reaching the field at about 6:45am. if you want we can convoy there this Friday. Let me know.

Hi - new to this group, but an old RC modeller! Interested in getting into it again and hoping to come along to the Al Khor airfield when there are people flying. I see the GPS co-ordinates above, and the message from Chris Loh about typical flying times on a Friday from 06.45.

Thinking of coming along this Friday morning if anyone is planning to be there? - about 07:00?  Hope to meet up and find out more about the club.

Regards

Pete

Hii mexpilot thank you for the speedy answer.

Will come to doha next month and will bring my plane and helicopter with me as well.
Is there any fees to make the qsc member club? Is it renewable or one time registration only?

And how about the flying field in al wakra area is it still available?

Thx

I’ve done it only once it was 400riyals , if your coming to doha your RC item might get hold in customs , because you need to be a member of the flying club and they will give your a letter directed to customs , to be bring in your items , but I have brought planes and parts , and never been told anything , just a question of luck , but if you bring a quad with a camera it is forbidding ,

You can call the qatar rc sports center , for joining or any more question ..
