i think this really only occured during teh last 3 flights.. i changed teh belt and now i`m still having slight wag at 46% which wasn`t there before.. but no problem i fly with 40% now and the tail is holding perfect again. i did a lot of backwards horizontal figure 8s (from backwards fligt perform 1/2 nose up flip to inverted backwards flight climbing and then 1/2 nose down flip to backwards flight upright) and no tail swinging or anything like that Smiley i`m pretty happy.

Philip - You should build one like this Smiley  Even the pink color is modeled correctly Grin

Ha this is the best skyvan model i`ve seen so far Smiley and actually she is modeled on our first pane OE-FDL that colour scheme is from 1986, the nose got painted yellow after the plane kissed a fuel truck  Shocked

the guy who built this actually was one of our freelance pilots a few years back Smiley

I`ve just finished packing my bag for going back home, and whilst i`m looking forward to my girlfriend, home, my workshop and my X50 Raptor Cheesy i`m also a bit sad leaving as i`ve found a great community of very nice people here in qatar to fly with !

Special thanks to Anwar (who has kept my flying on several occasions Smiley),but also to the rest of you folks at wakra field, thanks for making this stay such a pleasant one !

When i come next year, will i bring the 250 again, you bet i will Cheesy maybe i`ll fly the plane down here then i`ll bring the larger heli with me too Wink

Hi Philip -  The Youtube video was courtesy of Jamal "bhai" (a word I am sure you have picked up well Wink ) ! Guess he is still basking in the memories of the Skyvan ride !

I also went by the kite shop we discussed, they didn't remember you stopping by, unless the staff changed.  I picked couple of them up, for my secret project inspired by you.

Looking forward to your return trip here.  Who knows, I may visit Klatovy some day !

Anwar bhai ! i was asking for a shop so you can find material for the floppy thingy of the secret project Cheesy and quite frankly i forgot about it today on the way home.. too much talkign to my relief pilot.

Looking forward to seeing your build thread, there is not too many of tehm on here and maybe it inspires some more people... it`s so satisfying to make something with ones own hands!

And if you come to klatovy, then my home is yours bhai ! Smiley

Greetings from the Czech Republic Smiley not quite as blue sky here as in Qatar and temperatures a chilly 8C, but no wind and our whole fleet out and flying Smiley
The 50 and 500 are my girlfriends, the hurricane and X50 are mine.

Flying the large ones again made me already improve, I can fly now funnels nose up and nose down and make piro flips with 5 consecutive flips Anwar bhai, so maybe the 3D video isn't that far away : )
