The forecast seems dead wrong.  There is no wind now, when it is supposed to be very windy.  Looks like the morning will be good, and we are going.

Well... The weather guy was partially right Sad

We are at the field and it is pretty windy.  Perfect for heli style landings. But we decided to call it a day.

Ok fella's,
I almost have my Sig Somethin' Extra finished, will be looking for a weekend group to rule the skies with in a couple weeks, either field is fine by me. Will be building a small jet soon (JHH F9F Panther, EDF) also, gonna need a jet group to hang with too.

According to forecasts, it will calm down for tomorrow, and the wind/dust will pickup again Saturday.

Yes. Going to the field now. Except for a bit of dust in the air, looks like it is a beautiful day.

Actually, 8 knots @ 0600 hours doesn't look bad at all. It will go up to 13 knots by the time we leave the field. I will be there unless something changes drastically.  Wink
